I am a graduate of Pisgah High School.  Following my high school graduation, I attended Northeast Alabama Community College, then transfered to Athens State University.  I graduated with a degree in Secondary Education in Mathematics with a Middle School Endorsement.  After graduation, I was a migrant aide at Pisgah High School for one year.  The following year, I began working at Three Springs Private School.  I taught at Three Springs for 15 years.  Then, I returned to public education and earned my certification in Comprehensive Science. I taught math and science for one year at Paint Rock Valley High School, then transfered to Skyline High School.   I taught science at Skyline for five years. During my time at Skyline, I also began teaching adult education at night through NACC. And, I earned my Master's Degree in Mathematics Education. I left Skyline to teach the PLUS program.  PLUS was a program designed to allow students who were at risk for dropping out. I taught PLUS for 5 years.  I transfered to teaching math at EPCOT during the 2020-2021 school year.  I am very grateful for all the students who have come through my classroom! Over the years, I believe they have probably taught me more than I have taught them.
