Mrs. Danielle Maples
My name is Danielle Spears Maples. God has blessed me with a wonderful husband (Bruce) and two children (Luke and Blake). Ever since graduating from North Sand Mountain in 1995, it was always a dream of mine to become a teacher and coach. I enjoyed teaching and coaching at North Sand Mountain (1 year) and Section High School (12 years). While at Section, I taught many different subjects and coached Junior Varsity and Varsity Girls’ Basketball. I have to say one of my proudest moments as a coach was winning the 2012-2A State Championship. In the fall of 2012 I decided to end my career at Section and return to Bryant/North Sand Mountain to begin my counseling career. I have no regrets of returning to my Alma Mater. I love my job, and I am blessed to be able to work with wonderful students and an amazing faculty. I am blessed to be able to come back "home" and try to be a positive role model to my students. I now know how true the saying is "It takes something special to be a Bison."
